An Amish Market

An Amish Market is a novella that captures four short stories in to one book. Each story is written by a different author but revolves around the same little Amish shop and all are simple little stories about love.

Love Birds by Amy Clipston, Ellie Lapp and her mother are mourning the loss of  their beloved son and brother.  This story is a simple romance that revolves around two main characters, Ellie Lapp and Lloyd who begin spending more and more time together and realize that they are beginning to develop deep feelings for one another.

A Bid for Love by Kathleen Fuller, is the story of Ezra and Hannah Lynne. Hannah Lynne sells her home-churned butter to the local market.  Ezra is the local bachelor and has his heart set on the possibility of love.

Sweeter Than Honey by Kelly Irvin is a love story of Isabella and Will.  Will has a broken heart and Isabella is determined to be the one to mend his broken heart.

Love in Store by Vanetta Chapman was quite different than the rest of the stories in that it is a mystery type story. The couple in the story must solve a mystery that revolves around the shop, the Old Amish Mill.

Each story is very enjoyable and easy to read. I love the fact that they are short stories all based on simple love stories. My 12 year old daughter has begun to read the book as well and is enjoying the stories too.

An Amish Market was provided by the publisher for the sake of review but the opinions are of my own. I was not paid in any way to provide an honest review of this publication.
